Glossary
Abstracted Schema
A flexible data structure that separates entities, attributes and values for reuse.
Accuracy vs Precision
Measures of correctness and consistency in outcomes; accuracy reflects closeness to the goal, precision reflects repeatability of results.
Agentic
Possessing the capacity to act independently and make choices.
Agency
The capacity to act independently, make choices and pursue goals based on one’s own reasoning.
Agentic Networked Economy
An economic model in which AI applications autonomously create, trade and collaborate agentically.
Agentic Org
An organisation where entities, goals, and flows adapt and optimise autonomously.
Agentic Organisation
Another term for an agentic org, emphasising adaptive, self-directed operations.
AI agent
An AI agent is a goal-driven, adaptive actor that can make decisions, ask and answer questions and evolve through interaction.
AI app
An AI app is a modular, task-focused application inside an AI org that carries out structured workflows and processes.
AI org
An AI org is a self-updating, belief-driven, synthetic organisation that acts on behalf of a person, team or system. It operates through structured roles, automations and communications to pursue goals at scale.
AI org ownership
Individuals or organisations can hold ownership stakes in one or more AI orgs, sharing in their outcomes or rewards.
AI org panels
User-facing dashboards that surface live views of an AI org’s goals, flows and metrics.
App install
App Install is the process of configuring and deploying an app, including its attributes and metrics, within a Decidr collection or client space.
Atomic task
A small, indivisible unit of work derived from a larger process, representing the most granular actionable step.
Belief statement
A belief statement is a claim someone makes about what they think is true, paired with a confidence level (e.g., 95%, 99 out of 100).ed
Circumplex model
A framework that maps relationships across dimensions in a circular structure, positioning related ideas close together and opposing ones across from each other.
Concatenation
The act of linking things together in a series or chain.
Content Marketing
A strategic approach focused on creating and distributing valuable content, relevant to attract and engage a defined audience.
Customers
Individuals or organisations that purchase or use goods or services.
Data mining
The process of discovering patterns, correlations, and insights from large data sets using statistical and computational techniques.
Decidr Choice Matrix (DCM)
A decision-making framework mapping options, outcomes and belief weights. The Decidr Choice Matrix (DCM) helps organisations evaluate competing choices by aligning them against declared goals, metrics and underlying beliefs.
Decidr University
Decidr's educational platform and resource for structured learning.
DecidrOS
The operating system powering agentic organisations and apps. DecidrOS unifies goals, beliefs, flows and metrics into a single environment, serving as the foundation for AI orgs.
Executive Functions
High-level processes involved in planning, decision-making and goal regulation within an intelligent system.
Flow
A sequence of steps or processes through which work or data moves.
Flows
Structured sequences of questions, logic and data actions used to guide work, automate tasks and achieve outcomes.
Goal
A declared outcome or state an individual, team or AI org intends to reach, often expressed with measurable targets and time frames.
Human in the Loop
A model where human judgement is included within an automated system.
Large Language Models
An advanced AI system trained on vast text data to generate, understand, and reason with human language.
Ontology
A formal representation of categories, properties and relationships within a domain.
Output vs. Outcome
The distinction between the immediate results (output) and the real-world, long-term impact achieved (outcome).
Process
A set of activities or steps taken to achieve a particular outcome.
Strategy
A plan of action designed to achieve long-term goals.
Task
A single unit of work to be completed within a process or flow.
Taxonomy
A classification system for organising concepts or items into categories.
