Collection

A collection is a structured group of related entities, such as a list of customers, orders or tasks. It represents a meaningful set your apps can analyse or act on.

We use collections to organise entities that belong together in a useful way. Collections don’t change what the entities are, they just provide a way to view, manage or reason about them as a group. Apps can reference collections to apply logic, filters or actions across multiple items at once.

Collections in Decidr are flexible. They can be static, such as a predefined group, or dynamic, updating automatically as entities meet certain criteria.

Collections reduce complexity. Instead of managing items one by one, you can reason about groups, which saves time and improves clarity across workflows and decisions.

Collections might include:

• A group of high-value customers
• Active support tickets
• Products within a category
• Workflows in a specific state

Apps and views use these collections to drive actions and insights.
