Decidr to acquire Sugarwork, accelerating shift towards the agentic economy
Decidr has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Sugarwork, a New York–based platform that captures and activates the hidden operational knowledge inside businesses. This capability has become a powerful accelerant for the agentic economy: a world of intelligent, AI-driven orgs that can perceive, act and improve autonomously.

Building an agentic organisation starts with understanding how a business actually works. Not how it looks on paper, not what’s documented in a wiki, but the real workflows that live in people’s heads. Today, Decidr is taking a major step toward bridging that gap.
Why we’re excited for this global opportunity
Most organisations only see a fraction of how they operate. Sugarwork maps the invisible 80% — the undocumented workflows, the tacit expertise, the process variations that never make it into systems of record.
By integrating Sugarwork into DecidrOS, that knowledge becomes structured, machine-readable intelligence. And once it’s structured, Decidr can turn it into agentic apps that learn, adapt and execute with precision.
Decidr Executive Chair and Co-CEO David Brudenell says, “With Sugarwork, businesses can quickly uncover hidden knowledge — often the most valuable type of knowledge — and see it in a structured way. Making the invisible visible is a powerful starting point for agentic transformation.”
A new, faster way for organisations to onboard into DecidrOS
Sugarwork will be embedded into the DecidrOS onboarding experience, giving businesses a clearer and faster path to schema-level intelligence. This means:
- More accurate schema configuration
- Faster deployment of agentic workflows
- Stronger alignment between human processes and automated execution.
Sugarwork will also be available as a standalone discovery product in the APAC region, helping customers prepare for agentification long before they adopt AI at scale.
Proven outcomes from global businesses
Sugarwork has already demonstrated the value of unlocking hidden knowledge:
- 70% reduction in onboarding time for global AI data provider Appen.
- Discovery of enterprise-critical workflows for a USD $800M Nasdaq-listed medtech firm.
Its methodology turns tacit knowledge into structured processes — exactly the type of intelligence DecidrOS needs to automate with depth and reliability.
What changes for customers and partners?
Sugarwork will continue under its current brand, supported by Decidr’s technical and commercial teams. Existing customers gain access to Decidr’s partner ecosystem, while new DecidrOS clients gain an accelerated path from workflow discovery to agentic execution.
Another milestone in building the agentic economy
The acquisition follows Decidr’s A$20 million capital raise and continues the expansion of the tools and infrastructure required to deliver agentic AI at global scale.
Completion of the transaction is expected by 31 December 2025, subject to standard closing conditions.
