Decidr in CIO: "Most companies are stuck on AI chat"
Decid'rs research has been featured in CIO.com, one of the world's most-read publications for technology leaders.

CIO senior writer Grant Gross' feature draws extensively on Decidr's US AI Readiness Index Report 2026.
The piece centres on a finding that will be familiar to anyone who has read the report: 40% of US businesses are getting most of their value from ChatGPT-style tools, while fewer than one in five has a centralised AI platform deployed across their whole business.
Decidr co-CEO David Brudenell features throughout as an expert voice, drawing a sharp distinction between chat AI and genuine automation.
"Most organisations aren't using AI; they're using a very fast search engine that writes back," he tells CIO. The piece goes on to capture his argument that the real shift comes when organisations stop asking what they can ask AI to do, and start asking what AI can do without them.
It's a distinction that sits at the heart of what we're building at Decidr and it's one that more enterprise leaders are starting to take seriously.
