Definition
A circular model that maps human values based on how compatible or conflicting they are. Values that sit next to each other tend to support each other; values on opposite sides tend to clash (so prioritising one often suppresses the other). It is typically organised as 10 basic values grouped into 4 higher-order clusters: Openness to change (e.g., self-direction, stimulation (+ sometimes hedonism)); self-enhancement (e.g., achievement, power (+ sometimes hedonism)); conservation (e.g., security, conformity, tradition); self-transcendence (e.g., benevolence, universalism)
